A collaborative approach to addressing homelessness includes advancing care coordination, education, training, sharing best practices, co-investment, partnerships, and state and local advocacy.
- Work to develop a collaborative framework to address homelessness.
- Conducted key informant interviews to learn about current and planned hospital services and programs.
- Opportunities currently being explored fall into three categories: street medicine, recuperative care, and community health navigator programs.
LA Partnership Homelessness Initiative Goals
- Produce measurable, impactful solutions at scale.
- Identify opportunities to engage other private sector stakeholders as co-investors, such as financial institutions, large employers, health plans, and others.
- Position health care leaders as powerful advocates for local/regional policy development to assist in addressing the drivers of homelessness.
